 describe the shape, size, height, speed ect. =   It was early morning in my
 home at about 3 a.m. I was sitting in my recliner in our family room and
 my youngest daughter(2 yrs.old) was sleeping in her minature DORA
 couch. I frequintly dose off watching t.v. in this room. I awoke from dosing
 off and looked at my daughter and saw a faceless black shadow (like
 the horse riders on THe Lord of the Rings) standing over her. It was
 about 6 1/2 to 7ft tall. My body felt paralyzed and I started to yell at
 the top of my lungs " In the name of Jesus Christ stay away from my
 daughter" I said this several times and then in an instant the shadow stood
 over me for about a half a second and then it dissapeared. This is the
 only time I have witnessed this in my home. I have witnessed or felt
 that I have witnessed other unexplained things when I lived in Nebraska,
 but those were not scary like this.      Once I was sleeping and felt
 as if someone was shaking me to wake up,but when I opened my eyes no one
 was in the room and the door was still locked. In this same room I
 heard a voice say "Chris I love you in a non-gender voice and when i woke
 up to see who it was,again I was the only person home.

 describe the shape, size, height, speed ect. = This took place in a small
 farmhouse in Royal Arkansas, a place owned by a dear friend of mine. My
 wife had died about 3 weeks before (I don't think this had anything to do
 with the experience) but I was staying at his parents old house.  He
 lived about 300 yards away. The house had been built in the 1920's, and
 no one had died there that we knew of.  I was awake and reading about
 11:30 PM; it was very cold for that time of year, and raining hard, temp.
 was about 40 degrees Fahrenheit. There was no TV, radio was off, and I
 heard the unmistakable sound of laughing children (two of them)
 chasing each other around the house.  They were approximately 3 and 4 years
 old; I say this because a friend has 2 boys exactly that age, and I
 first thought he had brought them there ( he came there often to bring his
 children to fish in one of the ponds nearby).  I listened in
 astonishment as they ran giggling happily right under the front window.  The
 reason that this is impossible is, right under the window is an old
 flower-bed that is cluttered with an old fence and head-sized rocks; you
 couldn't run over it-especially at NIGHT-without tripping over the rocks and
 fence. I heard them giggling and chasing each other, with squealing
 and the sound of childish words. (You know how little kids sound when you
 hear them through a window; you can't make out the words but you know
 that they are saying something)  They continued around the house; I got
 up & ran to the kitchen to see if they were actually running all the
 way around the house. I heard them in the kitchen as they ran-still
 giggling and obviously (?) chasing one another around the house.  The
 backyard of the house was overgrown to a depth of 3 feet in weeds, plus it
 was cluttered with old window frames, large bricks, large roacks, etc.
 In other words, you had to make your way very carefully in broad
 daylight to avoid barking your shins-or worse-on old debris around the house
 (it was in good shape but had not been maintained in years).  I went
 back to the front of the house to hear the "children" once again under the
 front window, giggling and chasing each other. I waited until they had
 passed the front door-somehow I KNEW I would not see anything-and
 opened the door and shouted "HELLO...?" and then slammed and locked it.
  The noises stopped immediately.  Now I know nobody had actually died at
 that house, but back in the early 50's a man about 1/2 mile away had
 murdered his entire family (5 children and his wife).  I don't know if
 this has any significance, but there it is.  My impression was that these
 were two children who were very happy, and somehow I got the feeling
 that it was early Spring, and they were just having a romp around the
 house.  If it weren't for the time of day and the weather,  it would have
 seemed perfectly natural, but NO kids would have been giggling and
 romping in pitch-black darkness with cold pouring rain coming down.  I
 welcome any comments/criticisms.
